The format and size of this book can not portray an overview of architecture in the United States, so we have selected a number of significant examples without claiming any particular style. The selection of projects and covers architects of the most famous (Frank O. Ghery) to lesser known (Michael Jantzen), interspersed with a range of figures who have also left their mark architectural staff at the scene. The aim is to highlight the variety present, at least serve as a fascinating introduction to a world that seems to have left behind not only Wright but also Gropius and Mies.
